About Jared

Jared Sigman is a Los Angeles–based comedian, actor, and writer known for his smart-silly characters, fearless physicality, and absurd satire rooted in real emotional stakes. His work blends grounded vulnerability with unhinged, off-the-rails characters, often toeing the line between sincerity and chaos.

He writes, directs, and stars in original stage and screen content, including his self-produced Fringe play The Jared Show (2025), the award-winning shorts The Way to the Top and Zipsul, and a wide range of character-driven sketches featured at The Groundlings, The Pack Theater, and independent stages across LA. Jared’s scripts explore everything from surreal corporate dystopias to deranged mentorship rituals, bunker paranoia, toxic relationships, and post-apocalyptic tenderness.

He is also the co-creator and cover artist of FREDDY, an underground monthly comedy zine showcasing oddball characters, illustrated bits, and experimental comedy writing.
